The exterior is built from solid steel and brushed aluminum for a clean. It combines generous expansion flexibility, excellent air or water cooling capabilities, and an interior optimized for fast and easy builds and upgrades. Systems were benchmarked by waiting 15 minutes. If you’re building a high-performance full tower PC system, Obsidian Series 750D Airflow Edition is a great start. I'd expect they'd be the same price as the regular 750D. Our testbed hardware for the Corsair Obsidian 750D was a Core i7-2600K on an Intel DP67BG2 motherboard with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 6870. then if the mobo is working (lights the 4000D power LED), but it doesnt work on the 5000, its a led failure. The other thing which is probably the biggest issue for me (as an Australian) is how long we can expect to wait to get our hands on these and how much we'll have to save away. I was actually hoping by scouring their site to find a hint of the next Obsidian case which might address some of the issues with the 750D, including the bottom grommet positions, and bottom dust filters (or lack thereof). Regarding the case itself, I assume it's virtually identical apart from the panel. I guess this is more a gripe about the fans than the case, but why are there no LED AF fans in green? However, what if I want green LED fans in there? They'd have to be SP fans, and assuming I don't have the drive cages there (I would probably have at least one with maybe one drive), it seems like a lot of wasted cooling potential. This is great, a couple AF140s in there would be wonderful. Now looking at the Corsair website again I notice they have released an Airflow Edition of the 750D with a mesh front panel. While the consensus seemed to be that the panel doesn't have a significant impact on cooling performance, it was still something I wasn't too sure about. Otherwise its seems like a really nice case so far. For now I suppose I could tape the front panel on, so its not a huge deal. Banned by Moderators 7.8k Share Posted December 16, 2016. I found it being discussed on Corsairs site and it sounds like I might be able to contact Corsair and get a replacement front panel, but I was curious what you all think. The only thing that concerned me, and apparently a lot of other people, was the front panel. Has anyone else run into LED issues with Corsair cases
. However, I still intend on upgrading soon and one of the things I keep looking over is the case.Īfter a lot of searching and looking through threads and videos, the 750D seemed like a great choice. So for the last couple weeks or so I've been stewing on a new build but am holding off for now, it looked like I was going to need an immediate replacement but things are looking alright.
